2. The benefit unit cost includes installation of the District's meter box, saddle off the main line, member benefit rights, legal description check (request copy of recorded deed) engineer's line capacity check, District processing charge and labor charge (installation).
3. Benefit unit cost does not include any line extension charges or cost for back flow prevention devices (or installation thereof) which may be required or road crossings if required.
RURAL WATER DISTRICT N0-4 SEDGWICK COUNTY SCHEDULE OF CHARGES FOR BENEFIT APPLICATIONS AND TRANSFERS RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS
New Applications - existing Line - Same side of Road:
$3,300.00 - Includes installation of District's meter and meter box. saddle off main line, member benefit rights, legal description check (need copy of recorded deed), engineers line capacity check, District's processing charge, and labor charge (installation).
New Applications - Existing line - Across the Road:
$4,000.00 Includes:
$3,300.00 - Minimum Application Charge (includes all the above)
$700.00 - Additional, Labor Charge (for under-road bore)
The above schedule of charges is tentative, and only should be considered as a starting point, as the district may change charges from time - to - time. Also, labor charges may change depending upon conditions to meet the actual installation costs incurred.
If an application cannot be accepted, the application fee will be refunded, less a $200.00 processing charge (legal, engineering and District).
New Applications - Line extension required:
The cost of any water line extension required to serve a new applicant, where there is not a District water line of sufficient capacity on or adjacent to their property, will be the sole responsibility of that applicant.
A new easement for water lines over the application property Is required from all applicants.
Transfers require a fully signed Assignment and a full signed Acceptance section of the Water Benefit Unit Certificate (on reverse side of Certificate).
Transfer fees are as follows:
Same location - $100.00 **
Affidavit is required and a copy of the RECORDED DEED is submitted with transfer request. At the option of the District, a new easement may be required from the Transferees.
*** Plus, actual cost of removal of meter from original location and installation service at a new location upon transfer will be at the sole cost of the applicant/transferee. A new easement for water lines over the new location is required from all new locations Transferees.
